TKMH has an overall aim of Zero Harm to all of its employees, to its engaged subcontractors and includes nil damage to its assets and equipment.

Please review the attached TKMH Occupational Safety and Health Policy Statement that provides clarification of the company focus and culture.

The path to Zero Harm for TKMH is facilitated by the implementation and continual improvement of its Safety Management Systems, including use and development of its online Safety Management Tool ( STEMS - Safety Training and Event Management System )

Part of the TKMH Safety System is the overall Health and Safety Management Plan (HSMP) for the company. This has been developed to enable a uniform and effective standard of Safety Management to be applied to the Engineering, Procurement and Construction activities for TKMH.

The HSMP incorporates management systems that will, as minimum, meet client OHS specifications, statutory duties and responsibilities defined in applicable and current State OH&S legislation.

The elements of the System are:

TKMH OHS and Environmental Policy and Statement of Commitment
TKMH Health, Safety Management Plan
Safety Procedures (SP’s)
Site specific Operational Procedures
Safety forms (SF’s)

The HSMP is intended to provide TKMH personnel and subcontractors with clear guidelines, methodology and standards for managing OH&S within their activities.
